So I'm off work on Labour Day for the first time, I think ever. Well, except that fall I was unemployed. But still, is very strange. So far today, I've watched last night's Mad Men, had breakfast and drank a lot of coffee. It's only 10am so I'm kind of okay with that.

One of my favourite episodes ever, I think. The Don and Peggy relationship is really what I love about the show. Well, them and Joan. So yeah, so much love. When Don was on the phone, crying, oh, man, there is a small pile of kleenex on my desk now... It's kind of strange, but I think I might actually trust the show not to screw these two up. Like I trust wherever they're going with them. I hope I don't regret saying that. The main thing, though, that bugs me about this show is that it's not the Don and Peggy and Joan Show. If they could change that, I'd be much happier.

Oh, and I'm really looking forward to the moon landing. I hope they fast forward again, though, because it's only what, 1964? More moon landing, more Beatles, more Don&Peggy&Joan!

I guess I should finish that music meme. Here it is, really quickly.

Day 28. A song that makes you feel guilty:

I don't understand this question. There was already a guilty pleasure song. Listening to music doesn't make me feel guilty. Next.

Day 29. A song from your childhood: Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones

My parents are huge Stones fans. I could sing along to this song probably when I was 7 or 8. We never listened to a huge amount of music at home, but for sure in the car. Back then, the trip to see my Granny was about 8 hours (new road means it's only 4 now), so we spent a lot of time in the car together, listening to music. The two standby's were the Stones and Charlotte Diamond.

Day 30. Your favorite song at this time last year:

I already listed Through & Through & Through by Joel Plaskett as being a song from my favourite album. Seriously, though, I kind of want to put it for this question, too. It's brilliant and awesome and I adore it. Instead, though, I'll give you Deny, Deny, Deny from the same album.
